Using OctoPerf and Firefox, learn how to record HTTP/HTTPS traffic in order to simulate the dynamic journey of a visitor through your web application.

This first OctoPerf’s tutorial guides you through the following steps:

  1. Configuring Firefox to record HTTP/HTTPS traffic,
  2. Capturing the behavior of a visitor on our sample website PetStore,
  3. Exporting the record as a HAR file,

The resulting HAR file is also available for download here.

Notes:

There is also a written version of this tutorial in our documentation.
